Privacy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This page covers the Trolley Studio website, trolleygames.com, and the daily puzzles you play on it. Each of our Android apps has its own privacy policy, linked from its Google Play listing.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. The website has no accounts, no sign-up, no cookies and no ads.

To learn which games people enjoy, we count visits and game events with two privacy-friendly tools that use no cookies and don't track you across sites:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits: which page, the referring site, and your country and device type, worked out from the request and not stored with any identifier.
• Umami counts game events: a daily started or finished and its result (for example a score of 7 out of 9, or a 49:51 cut), a result shared, or a "Get it on Google Play" link tapped. Events never include answers, guesses or anything you type.

We only ever see these as totals, such as "120 people finished today's Knowdle".

What stays on your device

To remember your games, your browser keeps a few things in its own storage (local storage) on your device:

• your answers and results for each daily puzzle, so a game you leave can be resumed and a finished one shows its result;
• your streaks and statistics;
• your settings, such as sound on or off, units, and the home country Geoff compares numbers with.

None of this is sent to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser's data for this site deletes it.

What your browser loads

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the pages and protect against abuse. Pictures in trivia questions are loaded from haltaalam.fyi, our own image host. Fonts and everything else are served from this site.

Sharing your results

When you tap "Share", the text is copied or handed to your device's share menu. It only goes where you choose to send it, and it never includes the answer.

Changes

If we change what the website collects, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
