This page explains how Megati (ميجاتي), an Android app that shows which apps use your mobile data and blocks their internet access, handles your data. Megati is published by Trolley Studio (Muhammad Ashraf) under the package name com.trolley.megati.
In short
- Megati doesn't have permission to use the internet. Android doesn't let it send anything anywhere, and it has no servers.
- Everything Megati reads and saves stays on your phone. We never receive it.
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no trackers.
- We don't collect, sell or share your data.
What Megati reads on your phone
- How much mobile data each app used, from Android's own network statistics, which Megati can read once you grant it usage access. These are totals per app: how many megabytes it used on mobile data, split into foreground and background use, and from what day. Megati uses them to show you where your data went, to warn you about apps that use a lot in the background or when your bundle runs low, and for your usage history. They don't include which websites or services an app contacted, or anything the app sent or received. Megati doesn't use usage access to see which apps you open or for how long.
- Your installed apps: the names and icons of apps that appear in your app drawer, so you can choose which ones to block.
- Whether you're on mobile data or Wi-Fi, so blocks set for one network only apply on that network.
How blocking works
Megati blocks apps with a local VPN, Android's built-in way for an app to control other apps' network connections. The VPN runs entirely on your phone and doesn't connect to any server. Only the apps you block are routed into it, and their traffic goes nowhere: Megati never reads, inspects, records or forwards it. Every other app connects to the internet as usual and doesn't pass through Megati at all. While the VPN is on, Android shows a key icon in the status bar.
What Megati saves on your phone
- Your blocks: which apps are blocked, on which networks, and until when.
- Your profiles and their schedules (Megati Pro).
- Your bundle size and the day it renews.
- Your settings and which alerts you want.
- Usage history: each day's mobile data per app, kept for a little over a year so you can look back (shown in Megati Pro, recorded for everyone so it's there if you upgrade).
- App lock PIN (Megati Pro): stored only as a salted one-way hash, never the PIN itself.
- A diagnostics log: the last thousand or so technical events, such as when blocking started or stopped, network changes, and which apps were routed into the VPN. It's used only in problem reports you choose to send (below).
Clearing Megati's storage or uninstalling it deletes all of this.
Backups
If Android backup is on, Android may back up your blocks, profiles, settings, alert settings and usage history to your own Google account, so they come back on a new phone. That is governed by your Android settings and Google. Your app lock PIN and the diagnostics log are left out of backups.
Notifications
Megati shows a notification while blocking is on (Android requires it), and, if you allow them, alerts about your bundle, apps using data in the background, timed blocks ending and a weekly summary. They're all worked out and shown on your phone; there's no notification server. You can turn each kind off in Megati or in Android's settings.
Reporting a problem
If you tap Report a problem in Help, Megati writes a text report and opens your phone's share menu, with our address filled in. Nothing is sent unless you send it, and you choose the app and the recipient. The report contains:
- Megati's version, your phone's maker and model, and its Android version.
- Megati's status: whether blocking is on or paused, whether you have Pro, whether app lock is on (never the PIN), and which permissions it has.
- Your blocks (the apps' package names, networks and end times) and your profiles (names, number of apps and schedules).
- Recent times Android closed Megati, and the mobile data that blocked apps used in the last 48 hours.
- The diagnostics log described above.
If you send it to us, we use it only to look into your problem. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Google Play
Some features are provided by Google Play on your phone, under Google's privacy policy:
- Buying Megati Pro (Google Play Billing): Google Play handles the purchase and your payment details; we never see them. Megati only keeps a record of whether you've bought Pro.
- Rating prompt (Google Play In-App Review): Megati may show Google Play's rating prompt. We don't learn who rated it or what they wrote beyond what is published on the store.
- Updates (Google Play In-App Updates): Megati asks Google Play whether a newer version is available, and Google Play downloads it.
These libraries run inside Megati but can't reach the internet from it either; Megati talks to the Google Play app on your phone, which handles everything else.
Permissions

Megati does not request the internet permission.
Your choices
- Usage access: withdraw it in Android Settings → Apps → Special app access → Usage access.
- Blocking: pause it in Megati, or turn the VPN off in Android Settings → Network → VPN.
- Notifications: turn any kind off in Megati's Notifications screen or in Android's settings.
- Data on your phone: delete it by clearing Megati's storage or uninstalling it.
- Problem reports you sent us: write to us and we'll delete them.
Children
Megati is a general-audience utility. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If Megati ever starts collecting or sending data, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.

باختصار
- ميجاتي لا يملك إذن استخدام الإنترنت. أندرويد لا يسمح له بإرسال أي شيء إلى أي مكان، ولا يملك أي خوادم.
- كل ما يقرؤه ميجاتي ويحفظه يبقى على هاتفك، ولا يصلنا منه شيء.
- لا حسابات، ولا إعلانات، ولا إحصاءات استخدام، ولا تقارير أعطال، ولا أدوات تتبّع.
- لا نجمع بياناتك ولا نبيعها ولا نشاركها.
ما يقرؤه ميجاتي على هاتفك
- كمية بيانات الهاتف المحمول التي استهلكها كل تطبيق، من إحصاءات الشبكة التي يحتفظ بها أندرويد نفسه، ويقرؤها ميجاتي بعد أن تمنحه إذن الوصول إلى بيانات الاستخدام. هي أرقام إجمالية لكل تطبيق: كم ميجابايت استهلك على بيانات الهاتف، مقسّمة بين الاستخدام في المقدّمة وفي الخلفية، وفي أي يوم. يستخدمها ميجاتي ليُريك أين ذهبت باقتك، وليُنبّهك إلى التطبيقات التي تستهلك كثيرًا في الخلفية أو عندما توشك باقتك على النفاد، ولسجل الاستهلاك. لا تتضمّن هذه الأرقام المواقع أو الخدمات التي اتصل بها التطبيق، ولا أي شيء أرسله أو استقبله. ولا يستخدم ميجاتي هذا الإذن لمعرفة التطبيقات التي تفتحها أو مدة استخدامك لها.
- التطبيقات المثبّتة لديك: أسماء وأيقونات التطبيقات الظاهرة في قائمة التطبيقات، لتختار منها ما تريد حجبه.
- هل أنت متصل ببيانات الهاتف أم بشبكة Wi-Fi، كي لا يُطبَّق الحجب المخصّص لشبكة إلا عليها.
كيف يعمل الحجب
يحجب ميجاتي التطبيقات عن طريق شبكة VPN محلية، وهي الوسيلة المدمجة في أندرويد التي تتيح لتطبيق التحكّم في اتصالات التطبيقات الأخرى بالشبكة. تعمل هذه الشبكة على هاتفك بالكامل ولا تتصل بأي خادم. لا يمرّ عبرها إلا التطبيقات التي تحجبها، ولا تصل حركة بياناتها إلى أي مكان: لا يقرؤها ميجاتي ولا يفحصها ولا يسجّلها ولا يمرّرها. أما بقية التطبيقات فتتصل بالإنترنت كالمعتاد ولا تمرّ عبر ميجاتي إطلاقًا. أثناء تشغيل الشبكة يُظهر أندرويد أيقونة مفتاح في شريط الحالة.
ما يحفظه ميجاتي على هاتفك
- الحجب الذي أعددته: أي التطبيقات محجوبة، وعلى أي شبكة، وحتى متى.
- الأوضاع ومواعيدها (ميجاتي Pro).
- حجم باقتك واليوم الذي تتجدّد فيه.
- إعداداتك والتنبيهات التي تريدها.
- سجل الاستهلاك: استهلاك بيانات الهاتف لكل تطبيق في كل يوم، ويُحفظ لأكثر من سنة بقليل لتتمكّن من الرجوع إليه (يُعرض في ميجاتي Pro، ويُسجَّل للجميع ليكون جاهزًا إن اشتريت Pro).
- الرقم السري لقفل التطبيق (ميجاتي Pro): يُحفظ فقط كقيمة تجزئة أحادية الاتجاه مع ملح عشوائي، ولا يُحفظ الرقم نفسه أبدًا.
- سجل تشخيصي: نحو ألف حدث تقني أخير، مثل بدء الحجب وتوقّفه، وتغيّر الشبكة، والتطبيقات التي مرّت عبر الشبكة المحلية. لا يُستخدم إلا في تقارير المشكلات التي تختار أنت إرسالها (أدناه).
مسح بيانات ميجاتي أو إلغاء تثبيته يحذف كل ذلك.
النسخ الاحتياطي
إذا كان النسخ الاحتياطي في أندرويد مفعّلًا، فقد يحفظ أندرويد الحجب والأوضاع والإعدادات وإعدادات التنبيهات وسجل الاستهلاك في حساب Google الخاص بك، لتعود إليك على هاتف جديد. ويخضع ذلك لإعدادات أندرويد لديك ولـ Google. أما الرقم السري لقفل التطبيق والسجل التشخيصي فلا يُنسخان.
الإشعارات
يعرض ميجاتي إشعارًا أثناء تشغيل الحجب (يشترطه أندرويد)، وإن سمحت بذلك: تنبيهات عن باقتك، وعن التطبيقات التي تستهلك البيانات في الخلفية، وعن انتهاء الحجب المؤقت، وملخّصًا أسبوعيًا. كلها تُحسب وتُعرض على هاتفك، ولا يوجد خادم إشعارات. يمكنك إيقاف أي نوع منها من ميجاتي أو من إعدادات أندرويد.
الإبلاغ عن مشكلة
إذا ضغطت بلّغ عن مشكلة في صفحة المساعدة، يكتب ميجاتي تقريرًا نصيًا ويفتح قائمة المشاركة في هاتفك مع عنواننا مكتوبًا مسبقًا. لا يُرسل شيء إلا إذا أرسلته أنت، وأنت من يختار التطبيق والمستلم. يتضمّن التقرير:
- إصدار ميجاتي، والشركة المصنّعة لهاتفك وطرازه، وإصدار أندرويد.
- حالة ميجاتي: هل الحجب يعمل أم متوقف مؤقتًا، وهل لديك Pro، وهل قفل التطبيق مفعّل (دون الرقم السري أبدًا)، والأذونات الممنوحة له.
- الحجب الذي أعددته (أسماء حزم التطبيقات، والشبكات، وأوقات الانتهاء)، والأوضاع (أسماؤها، وعدد تطبيقاتها، ومواعيدها).
- آخر مرات أغلق فيها أندرويد ميجاتي، واستهلاك التطبيقات المحجوبة لبيانات الهاتف في آخر ٤٨ ساعة.
- السجل التشخيصي الموصوف أعلاه.
إذا أرسلته إلينا، فلا نستخدمه إلا لفحص مشكلتك، ويمكنك أن تطلب منا حذفه في أي وقت.
Google Play
بعض المزايا يقدّمها Google Play على هاتفك، وتخضع لسياسة خصوصية Google:
- شراء ميجاتي Pro (Google Play Billing): يتولّى Google Play عملية الشراء وبيانات الدفع، ولا نطّلع عليها أبدًا. ولا يحتفظ ميجاتي إلا بما إذا كنت قد اشتريت Pro.
- نافذة التقييم (Google Play In-App Review): قد يعرض ميجاتي نافذة Google Play لتقييم التطبيق. لا نعرف من قيّم أو ماذا كتب إلا ما يُنشر علنًا على المتجر.
- التحديثات (Google Play In-App Updates): يسأل ميجاتي Google Play عن توفّر إصدار أحدث، ويتولّى Google Play تنزيله.
تعمل هذه المكتبات داخل ميجاتي، لكنها هي أيضًا لا تستطيع الوصول إلى الإنترنت منه؛ إذ يتواصل ميجاتي مع تطبيق Google Play على هاتفك، وهو يتولّى الباقي.

لا يطلب ميجاتي إذن الإنترنت.
خياراتك
- الوصول إلى بيانات الاستخدام: اسحبه من إعدادات أندرويد ← التطبيقات ← الوصول الخاص للتطبيقات ← الوصول إلى بيانات الاستخدام.
- الحجب: أوقفه مؤقتًا من ميجاتي، أو أوقف شبكة VPN من إعدادات أندرويد ← الشبكة ← VPN.
- الإشعارات: أوقف أي نوع منها من صفحة الإشعارات في ميجاتي أو من إعدادات أندرويد.
- البيانات على هاتفك: احذفها بمسح بيانات ميجاتي أو بإلغاء تثبيته.
- تقارير المشكلات التي أرسلتها إلينا: راسلنا وسنحذفها.
الأطفال
ميجاتي أداة لعامة الجمهور، وليس موجّهًا للأطفال دون ١٣ عامًا، ولا نجمع عن قصد بيانات شخصية من أي أحد، بمن في ذلك الأطفال.
التغييرات
إذا بدأ ميجاتي يومًا في جمع بيانات أو إرسالها، فسنحدّث هذه الصفحة أولًا ونغيّر التاريخ في أعلاها.
